Project siDDHARTHA

I was running away from something. My chest pounding and sweat running down my back, I was in full flight mode. The city streets were busy and I was weaving in and out of large groups. A blimp floated across the sky blocking the sun and setting an eerie mood. Large letters across the football stadium sized aircraft read ATTENTION. A voice came from it

This is the goverment of the United States of America, everyone please return to your homes for an announcement and wait for further instructions.

Could it be aliens? I don’t know but I think I need to get inside. I go into a large business looking building and try to sneak past security and other workers. I go upstairs and find myself on a tv studio. News anchors sit at their desks urging everyone to go home. The room is dimly lit except for the actual set. I get down on my knees and crawl behind it hoping no one sees. The next door lead me a fire escape and I go up eventually ending up on the roof. There a woman in a suit spots me right away.

Agent: That chip belongs to the government, give it to us or we’ll have to take it from you by any means necessary.

Me: I refuse, this chip is me. It has all my feelings and hopes and dreams and without it I will be gone forever.

Agent: Project Siddhartha requires we collect this chip, you have no choice.

A helicopter lands behind the agent and a few armed men come running towards us. I back up until I am at the edge of the building and have nowhere to go.

I wake up from the dream tightly clenching my fist as if still holding the chip.

***before this dream I had no idea Siddhartha was a book and only knew the band (spanish rock)

What a project! I never thought about how scary Lilly was until I started wrapping the string around her neck, and limbs. Like damn that’s kinda dark WWE. Of all the crochet projects I’ve ever crocheted i think this one has the biggest chance of actually becoming haunted. My biggest challenge with this one was the hair. It looks like the real version uses some type of straw like stiff material almost and using yarn did not give the same results at all. I also could not get the ombre in the hair so I just ended up adding pink string too. Also I think I need new scissors cause my cuts are starting to look raggedy. Overall I think I did a decent job at replicating her. uhm …. I love you Alexa Bliss.
